I will begin the therapeutic journey with you by working together to create an individualized treatment plan for you as a unique client. My overall therapeutic approach remains solution-focused in that it fosters and encourages your growth and progress over the course of treatment. Throughout your journey, I will work hand-in-hand with you with the help of a combination of techniques derived from the following evidenced-based interventions: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. I wholeheartedly believe your background, personal beliefs, and value system are of primary importance in assisting you on your journey toward whole health and contentment.
I am a full-time Licensed Clinical Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor at Chicago Psychological Health Center, LLC. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015. I have experience working with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, addiction, and various life stressors. I also have specialized training and experience in the treatment of addiction and trauma as well as stressors related to life transitions occurring during adolescence and young adulthood.
“There is no experience that this man has that I cannot share with him, no fear I cannot understand, no suffering that I cannot care about because I too am vulnerable. And because of this I am enough. Whatever his story, he no longer needs to be alone with it. This is what will allow his healing to begin.” – Carl Rogers
