Samantha Dallas, M.Ed., LPC

I approach therapy with the belief that everyone deserves to be heard in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I believe that when we are in a quieter, calmer state of being that we can begin to process feelings, making healthier decisions for ourselves. Life is difficult, and sometimes we need extra support through difficult events in our life. I'm an advocate for practicing healthy boundaries and self-care so that we can keep our lives in balance.

My style of therapy is person-centered, while also combining CBT, ACT, and DBT Mindfulness interventions in collaboration with you. Additionally, I have experience working in a harm-reduction substance abuse facility with teens 18 years of age through adult.

My ultimate goal as a therapist is to provide a warm, non-judgmental, compassionate, and safe space for my clients where you can process emotions and events.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and received my M.Ed in clinical mental health counseling from DePaul University. My free time is spent with my three rescue dogs, hiking, practicing yoga, reading, coffee, traveling, and partaking in all things Harry Potter related.
