Dr. Amber Silverman, PsyD
Staff Therapist
I specialize in working with young adults transitioning from home to college and college to career. I have worked in a variety of settings including several years in college counseling centers, where I honed my skills and understanding of the unique challenges facing clients in the 18-30 range; however, my passion is working with all individuals who are struggling with identity concerns, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma and/or grief.
My personalized approach to therapy is based on each person's unique story and specific goals for therapy. I strive to work collaboratively with each client to identify current stressors and make meaningful changes in order to facilitate
greater happiness.
I am especially committed to increasing each client's ability to practice self-compassion and to see their own worth by creating a therapeutic space that is safe, understanding, and free of judgment.
