Becca Hofrichter, LCSW

I am a Queer, Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses an intersectional, non-condemning, strengths-based approach to therapy. For six years, I have been working with adults and adolescents in community program settings providing supportive services including crisis intervention and therapeutic interventions. I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Master’s degree in Social Work.

I believe it is important to collaborate with you in order to build brave spaces and identify your most affirming supports. I strive to be authentic, accepting, and empathetic in the therapeutic relationship and believe it is a partnership, recognizing that you are the expert on your experience. Our time together will be focused on creating space to identify your concerns and explore possibilities for change and growth.

My areas of expertise include supporting adolescents and adults around depression, anxiety, gender identity, sexuality, reproductive health, coping with trauma experiences, self-harm, body positive work, and reducing stigma around mental health experiences.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading as much as possible, and exploring new creative projects and writing.
